Summary
Update your profile, check your billing, or manage your subscription — all from the Settings page on alugha.com. This article walks you through the main tabs and what you can change in each one.
How to get there
Click your avatar (top right) and choose Settings, or go directly to alugha.com/settings. Your profile page opens with six tabs across the top:
- MY CONTENT — your published videos.
- FOLLOWERS — who follows your channel.
- PAYMENT — credits, billing, transaction history.
- ARCHIVE — same as My archive (manage your videos).
- ACTIVITIES — recent actions on your account.
- SETTINGS — profile and security settings.
Settings tab — Profile
Click the SETTINGS tab. The default section is Profile (left sidebar). Here you can edit:
- UPLOAD PHOTO — change your avatar image.
- USER NAME — your alugha handle (visible publicly).
- FIRST NAME / LAST NAME — your display name.
- TELL OTHERS ABOUT YOU — a short bio with profile language selector.
- DATE OF BIRTH — optional.
- COUNTRY — dropdown (for example Deutschland (DE)).
- PREFERRED LANGUAGES — the languages you create content in (for example German (DEU), English (ENG), French (FRA)). These affect which languages are pre-selected in certain dialogs.
- MY HOBBIES — optional interests.

Settings tab — Security
Click Security in the left sidebar (below Profile). Here you can:
- Change your password — if you signed up with email/password (not SSO).
- Manage connected accounts — link or unlink social logins.
- Delete your account — permanently remove your account and all associated data.
Account deletion is irreversible. All videos, translations, and project data will be permanently removed.
Payment tab
The PAYMENT tab shows your subscription, credit balance, and full transaction history at a glance.

Key sections:
- Your Subscription — current plan name, View pricing plan details link, and UPGRADE NOW shortcut.
- Wallet Overview — total credits, monthly credits, and booster (extra) credits.
- Subscription Credits — how many monthly credits you started with, used, and have remaining.
- Next period starts at — when your monthly credits refresh.
- Transactions History — every credit-consuming action logged with type, amount, and timestamp. Exportable as CSV.

Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan
- Upgrade — takes effect immediately. Remaining credits carry over.
- Downgrade — takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep all benefits until then.
- Cancel — also at the end of the billing period. Your account switches to the Free plan automatically.
- Enterprise customers — contact your assigned account manager for changes.
To change your plan, click UPGRADE NOW on the Payment tab or visit alugha.com/cms/pricing and click Get started on the plan you want.
Good to know
- Preferred Languages on the Profile tab affect which languages appear pre-selected in some dubbr dialogs — keeping this list clean saves clicks.
- The ARCHIVE tab on the Settings page is the same My archive you reach from the avatar menu — just a different entry point.
- Payments via Paddle — alugha never stores your credit card details. Paddle is PCI, GDPR, and SOC compliant.
- Account verification via Paddle is required to share videos publicly and embed the player. Free plan users must verify with a valid payment method (no charge).
- Transactions History shows every credit operation — from AI jobs to storage billing to subscription refreshes. Use the Download CSV button for reporting.
